ALLEN A. DREHER
Allen has been selected to the seven person Consolidated Board of the Highlands Ranch Metro District and, for the previous six years, served on the Board of Directors of Highlands Ranch Metro Districts 3 and 4. Allen is currently serving as vice-chair on the Consolidated Board and served as Chair or Assistant Chair for five years on the previous Board of Directors.
As a Metro District Director, Allen has dealt with all facets of Highlands Ranch government and its citizens needs. He has been involved in decisions affecting open space, parks, parkways, streets, lighting, traffic signals, fire protection, recreation, water, and financial stewardship on behalf of the residents of Highlands Ranch. Allen has worked to keep the community efficient and to lower the mil levy to hold down property taxes.
Allen is a Denver native and has lived in Highlands Ranch for eight years. He is a graduate of Machebeuf Catholic High School and the University of Colorado. Allen has four children and eight grandchildren all living within our state.
Allen worked for The Denver Post for 18 years and left to start a printing and graphics business which he sold after 5 years. He has been working as a Real Estate Broker for the last 15 years. Allen is a graduate of Leadership Douglas County.
